Museum of the Bible Tour in Washington, D.C.
- What is it?
A Tour of the section of the Museum that compares archeological discoveries to see if they agree with what God’s Word says. The tour examines evidence to see if the Bible is true by checking its historical claims against scientific evidence.
- What if I’m already a Christian who believes the Bible by faith?
Wonderful. But this tour is designed to give believers more confidence in answering unbelievers and skeptics questions in a way that can help them see that there is a tremendous amount of evidence that the Bible is true.
- Why take the tour?
To be equipped so you can better answer the unbelieving world for why you believe the Bible is true, which gives you a foundation to share the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
- How long is the tour?
It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to look at the archeological area and compare the artifacts with the people, places, events, and time periods that God’s Word describes.
- Who is this for?
Church groups, Bible studies, or other groups of Christians who wish to grow in their faith. 18th and 19th century educational and cultural institutions described the Bible as myths and fairy tales. This criticism along with Darwinism has done tremendous damage to the church. But the facts are very different than what is espoused in our unbelieving culture.

**** Example of Scientific Misinformation About the Bible ****
The following article illustrates how top scientific organizations cast doubts on the reliability of the Old Testament in a fashion that makes it seem scientifically factual. This source is very subtle in the way they try to discredit the Bible’s reliability with the title, but if you read this article a person finds no justification for their title. As an ex-atheist I can discern how unbelievers have been doing this type of thing in the name of “science” or in the educational system as the facts are not on their side. As the Museum of the Bible tour reveals, no archeological discovery has cast doubts on the Old Testament’s description of people, places, events, and time periods of history.
